ABOUT THE CLASSES

We are happy to teach you all these different types of Yoga with our lovely team of teachers. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you’re in doubt with any of these before enrolling to a class.

OUR CLASSES
HATHA

Uses bodily postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind. -beginners. All levels and advanced.

VINYASA

Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Commonly referred to as “flow” yoga. All levels.

YIN YOGA

This practice is designed to help you sit longer, and more comfortably, in meditation by stretching connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). A passive practice, Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia.

POWER YOGA

An intense workout that will make you sweat. A traditional Ashtanga practice follows the same series of poses and makes you hold each for five breaths before moving through a Vinyasa. Power Yoga classes move with an even faster rhythm.

ASHTANGA

Ashtanga practice begins with five repetitions of Surya Namaskara A and five repetitions of Surya Namaskara B, followed by one of 6 sequences. It is usually practiced in silence. intermediate level and advanced. All levels.

YINYASA

Yinyasa® is a style of yoga that Eileen learned during her Yoga Teacher Training with founder Mathieu Boldron. In this class we will always start with some yin postures to open the doors of the body before getting into a Yang (more dynamic) asana practice. All levels.

SOUL BARRE

Barre tones the arms, lifts the butt, sculpts the arms and flattens the abs. All whilst burning fat… what’s not to love? A workout which mixes Pilates, Yoga and ballet barre for the best results. Barre lengthens and strengthens your muscles and the goal is to work towards a dancers body. All levels.

ALOHA

Dynamic Vinyasa class with soft edge inspired by Myriam’s teachers in Hawaii, incorporating pranayama and guided meditation – intermediate – advanced  level, not recommended for very beginners
